Layers
Layers allow you to organize elements of your project by assigning objects to specific layers.
This helps control visibility and styling of multiple elements more efficiently.
Note: Layers do not affect project metrics — they are used for visibility and organization only.
Managing Layers
- Add a Layer – Click ‘Add’ to create a new layer.
- Hide/Unhide a Layer – Click the eye icon to toggle layer visibility.
- Rename a Layer – Click on the layer name to edit it.
- Color & Opacity – Assign a colour and set a transparency level. To enable colour display, check the ‘Use Colour’ checkbox. The selected colour will be applied to the layer’s elements in the model.
- Remove a Layer – Click the trash bin icon to delete a layer. Elements assigned to the removed layer will be transferred to the ‘Default’ layer.
