Planary 4.2.0

  • Introduced Layers:
    • Users now have more control over styling.
    • Removed “Coloured/No Coloured” styling in preferences since layers provide greater flexibility.
  • New configurable option: When selecting an element, metrics will show for the selected element only.

  • Added customizable offset height for lands.
  • Added contour labels to terrain elevation in MapBox.

Planary 4.1.1

  • No need to press “Enter” to see suggestions when searching for an address.
  • Added attribution when bringing a 2D map or topography to Revit/AutoCAD.
  • Camera menu now closes properly when clicking outside, including in analytics, project tree, or properties view.

    • Fixed issue where switching to ArcGIS custom view (when ArcGIS was not loaded) required selecting it twice.

    • Fixed issue where pressing “Enter” on an empty search showed “No Internet Connection”.
    • Fixed issue where ArcGIS was not rendered at the correct scale.
    • Fixed bug where DAE export failed if any element had a quote (“) in its name.
  • Planary AutoCAD:

    • Supports complex hatches (two polylines with different holes).
    • Fixed issue where Planary didn’t render elements drawn on planes other than the default one.
    • Fixed issue where polylines inside blocks were not placed correctly after model updates.
    • Fixed bug where switching options quickly in AutoCAD could unlink all elements in the project.
    • Fixed issue where moving a polyline linked to AutoCAD inside a block and then pressing Ctrl+Z in AutoCAD caused an error.
  • 3D model rendering now contain fewer vertices when not using curves.

Planary 4.1.0

    • Revit: Now supports Toposolid terrain import.
    • AutoCAD: Now supports Polygon Mesh terrain import.
  • When showing topography bring hosting app (Revit/AutoCAD) to the front.
