Layers

Layers allow you to organize elements of your project by assigning objects to specific layers.
This helps control visibility and styling of multiple elements more efficiently.

Managing Layers​
  • Add a Layer – Click ‘Add’ to create a new layer.
  • Hide/Unhide a Layer – Click the eye icon to toggle layer visibility.
  • Rename a Layer – Click on the layer name to edit it.
  • Color & Opacity – Assign a color and set a transparency level. To enable color display, check the ‘Use Color’ checkbox—the selected color will be applied to the layer’s elements in the model.
  • Remove a Layer – Click the trash bin icon to delete a layer. Elements assigned to the removed layer will be transferred to the ‘Default’ layer.

To assign an element to a layer: Select the element, then under ‘Properties’, choose the desired layer from the ‘Layer’ section.
