Design Options

Design Options in Planary

Planary enables the creation of multiple design options within the same project, allowing for easy comparison and evaluation.

To create a new design option, click the plus icon to open a drop-down menu:

New

Create a new option with the default Planary settings.

 

 

Duplicate

Duplicate the existing project with its settings. This allows you to create different scenarios by modifying parameters.

 

 

Duplicate With Filled Regions

Duplicate the existing project, including the associated 2D drawings (Filled Regions). Planary will generate a new set of filled regions for placement on a selected view in Revit.

 

Planary Version 4 - Design Options

Pro tip: Remember to save the duplicated version as a new project to keep your designs organized and separate.

When you duplicate a design option, you can easily evaluate different scenarios by moving from one tab to another
